Gospel Mission Temple was founded on June 27, 1984 in the basement of The Horton's home…

Gospel Mission Temple is a dynamic ministry led by God through His anointed pastor, Bishop Dr. Jimmie R. Horton. We are a Full Gospel Church emphasizing the five-fold ministry with Christ-like instructional teaching. God has blessed Gospel Mission Temple to be a highly diverse church breaking down the barriers of ethnic, social, and economic backgrounds. Our church preaches a ‘whosoever will’ doctrine not only to the local Quad City Area, but also throughout the world. We are a church of many nations as revealed in our multi-ethnic congregation of African Americans, Caucasians, Asians, Mexican Americans, Puerto Ricans, Italians and many other Nationalities.
